Is it actually possible to make sufficient income to live with by trading good penny stocks? What about becoming a millionaire? There are actually a number of individuals who make tremendous amounts of money with penny stocks. These are ordinary people who started trading penny stocks as a hobby.

So they started with penny stocks, learned the game and eventually moved up to more serious and profitable stocks, which deferentially made them fortunes. As they become more experienced and of course acquire more money to invest, they start investing more and thus earn more in return. So now the question becomes how do you start making quick profits with good penny stocks with as little risk as possible, right?

Remember that only after trading stocks many times and analyzing the trends, good results will be seen. Sometimes if you are lucky and smart enough it will take weeks, but most of the time it takes months, and even years.

Of course, there are a number of shortcuts to do so. There are lots of trading systems available, which help you to identify trends and profitable opportunities as they arise. The main problem with these systems is that any system generally relies on the historical data so this will take your time and efforts anyways.

In conclusion, if you want to make tones of money with penny stocks you need to:

Start doing it as a hobby. Do it part time!

Educate yourself and analyze the date every time you trade.

Be patient since success does not happen overnight.

In fact, never take someone’s uneducated advice on hot penny stock picks. Try to learn as much as you can about hot penny stocks and various useful market’s indicators. In other words, take the responsibility for choosing hot penny stocks by yourself, without relying on someone else.

Apart from educating yourself, another great way to learn how to choose hot penny stocks is to have a mentor. That mentor will be able to show you what you are doing right and what you are doing wrong, and most importantly why. However, be careful who choose your mentor as. Try to find someone who has the most experience and expertise.

In addition to finding a mentor, web is another great way to find help and advice in regards stock investment. There are tons of investment blogs, where expert stock traders share their opinions with you for free. Reading useful financial blogs daily can be a very powerful tool for beginners to expand their knowledge. Another great source is forums.

Here are a few positive factors to think about when deciding whatever to invest in penny stocks or not. Some of the common benefits are low share price, great potential for high gains and great opportunities for investors with small starting capital.

Let’s start off with the trading price. Penny stocks can be sometimes so crazy cheap, something like $0.001. How in the world can that stock go down even lower? The answer is yes it’s even possible for that kind of stock to go down even lower.

It’s really hard to find good, cheap penny stocks with high potential growth. But if you do, it’s possible to experience good growth in a very short period of time. Gains can be realized in a matter of hours, not days or months. Therefore trading penny stocks can be both exiting and very frustrating.

In conclusion, be aware of the consequences of unwise investing but also be aware of the great benefits if it’s done correctly.

Trading good penny stocks can be indeed very profitable. A stock can easily go up by 50 times in a day: so your $1000 investment would turn out to be $50 000 only in a day! On the other hand, it’s also easy to loose everything you have.

So you might wonder what is a penny stock? Well, there is no official definition for it. Some say a penny stock is traded under two dollars, while others say it’s a stock that’s traded under five dollars. I personally prefer to call a penny stock, a share that’s currently being traded under a dollar.

A sub-penny stock is any share traded under one penny. Sub-sub penny stock is any stock traded in the range of one hundredth of one penny.

There are various stock markets where penny stocks can be traded. Pink sheets markets, NASDAQ small Cap Market and American Stock Exchange are the markets for penny stocks in the United States. The NASDAQ and AMEX are the safest since they allow investor to have full access to company’s financial data. On the other hand, Pink sheets markets are the most risky with no financial reporting requirements.

Generally talking two main types of stock exists, which are common stock and preferred stock.

The most well known stock is of course a common stock. In fact, the majority of stocks are issued in this type of form. These shares simply represent assets ownership as well as a claim of profits. Investors who posses common stock shares get one vote per share and thus investors with the most shares have more influence and power. It’s worth mentioning that common stock holders are on the bottom of the priority ladder. This means that in case of liquidation, ordinary stock owners will be paid only after all other shareholders have received their claims.

Furthermore, there are two different classes of common stock. These classes are Class A and Class B. The first class, Class A, gives its owner more votes per share than comparing to the voting power of Class B owner.

Preferred stock have higher claim against company’s assets than common stock. Dividends are first paid off to preferred shares owners and then to common shares shareholders. On the other hand, these shares do not have any voting rights.

A stock is certain share of any publicly traded corporation. It also represents an amount of ownership of company’s assets and profits. Generally speaking, the more stocks you have, the more you can earn, and the greater voting power you have. Other terms for stocks are shares or equity.

Stock certificate is a fancy paper that represents the proof of your ownership. However, due to the technological advances stock certificates are not used that often as all of the transactions are done electronically.

The main reason for companies to offer stock is to raise funds and money. There are actually two ways to raise money: debt financing and equity finance. Debt financing is a way to raise the required amount of money by borrowing it from third parties. On the other hand, equity financing allows company’s gather the funds by selling a proportion of company’s ownership.

In conclusion, the process of dealing with stocks involves a certain degree of risk. If you don’t research, manage and control your stocks well, you could easily lose your life-time savings. So be sure to know what you are doing before you start dealing with stocks.

For example, if there are 10,000 shares of a company A and those shares are worth $20 each, then the company’s market capitalization is $20, 000.

This practice is used most of the time to determine the size of a certain company. The bigger the company, the larger it’s market capitalization value is and the safer reinvestments tend to be.

Stocks can be classified into different categories in accordance to its market capitalization. Investors use this categories to predict future returns on investments. Although there is no set definition for these terms, here is a list of general guidelines to classify different types of stocks:

Mid-cap: $400 million to $4 billion

Small-cap: $100 million to $400 million
